About Vialode

If you are here to work out whether we are real before you hand over an email address or a document, this page is for that. It is short and it includes what we have not built.

What is true today

  • We turn trade documents into structured data: bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists.
  • Early access means a person reads every field before it reaches you. Nothing is returned unchecked.
  • Documents reach us by email. You send one, we send the data back.
  • We are based in Malaysia. Our terms are governed by Malaysian law, with arbitration seated in Kuala Lumpur.

What we have not built yet

Most of what you read about AI document processing describes software that is finished. Ours is not, so here is the gap.

No accuracy figure

We have not published one, because we have not measured one on real customer documents. When we do, it will come with the sample size and the failure modes. Anyone quoting an extraction accuracy percentage without those is quoting a target.

No self-serve upload

There is no upload button on this site. Documents arrive by email and are handled by a person. That is slower than a product and it is what we actually do today.

No published pricing

Pricing is not set. Your first documents during early access are free, and we will not invoice you for anything without agreeing it with you first.

No certifications

We hold no SOC 2, ISO 27001 or similar. If your procurement process requires one, we are not a fit yet, and we would rather tell you now than at the end of an evaluation.

What happens to a document you send

It arrives by email and is read by a person to produce your result. We do not copy it into a database, we do not use it to train a model, and we delete it on request. During early access it stays in the mailbox it arrived in rather than on any Vialode system, because there is no Vialode system holding documents.

Redact anything you need to before sending. A document with the commercial terms blacked out still tells us whether we can read the fields.

Reaching a person

These are read by a human, not a ticketing system. We answer within two working days.

The fastest way to find out whether this is useful to you is to send one document you would otherwise retype.
